We are honoured to have been short-listed at the prestigious Herald Property Awards for our Weir project. This custom built home took over 3 years from conception to completion. We are extremely proud of this project and honoured it has been recognised.
The Kirklee Project
Originally the billiard room, the top floor of the property had to work on a number of levels. It had to be a great space for entertaining friends and family but also had to have the versatility of providing another bedroom. The space was to have a modern, uncluttered feel and it had to complement the property’s architecture and original period features.

Fotheringham Interiors were commissioned to design, supply and project manage from conception to completion. A mid century vision was the goal. The client gave free rein to create fresh and unique designs throughout.

The Perfect Surrounding
The property was in desperate need of renovation and modernization throughout. Structural alterations in the kitchen and bathroom were first, then space planning was key.
The property was to have a distinct style full of texture and pattern and most importantly had to complement the property’s architecture and original period features. The property has been designed to withstand the test of time and form the ultimate in classic contemporary design.
